SAVE REKOVAC - LEVCA INITIATIVE

On Friday, September the 3rd in Rekovac, Serbia a public protest will be held for the geological surveys of lithium ore in that area. The protest is oranized by the group “Somebody cares about Levac” because in April this year, a second three-year geological survey cycle was initiated, lasting three years and spanning across 99 square kilometres.

We would like to invite everyone who fights to protect Serbia from dirty industries and technologies to participate in this event, sign the petition against exploitation of lithium on the fertile lands of Levca and hear expert’s opinions on the topic.

NEAR SURFACE GEOSCIENCE'20

Conference & Exhibition

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED

After careful consideration, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Near Surface Geoscience Conference & Exhibition 2020 is extending its abstract submission deadline to 13 May 2020. Looking at the situation worldwide, we want to provide everyone with enough time to safely finish writing their abstracts and allow space for confidently submitting for the conference this August in Belgrade.

Our first priority is the health and welfare of the wider EAGE community. We remain optimistic that this situation will soon run its course, but are ready, willing and able to make the right decisions for attendees, should the need arise. We at EAGE wish the very best to all those affected directly and indirectly by the outbreak of COVID-19.

All interested in submitting an abstract for the NSG2020 conference are invited to do so here.
